Independent Distance Education Consultant, after working for the OU UK for 36 years in a range of roles from tutor to Assistant Director, Learning and Teaching. Editor of Open Learning, the Journal of Open, Distance and e-Learning for eight years. Author of numerous papers on open distance and e-learning.
